In the last years of the Integrale production Lancia developed many special editions based on the Evo 1 and Evo 2. Some of these really stand out like the Martini versions, Blu Lagos and very small number produced Evo’s like the Club Italia. However there is only one last version and that’s the ‘’Edizione Finale’’.
This Final Edition was developed for the Japanese market only were the Delta Integrale was immense popular. It was the Japanese Lancia importer who created a wish list with specs to what the Final Edition needed to include for its Japanese customers.
Some of the specs included the unique Rosso Amaranto colour with HF coloured stripes, many black body accents, carbon parts, black interior, numbered plate interior and on grill, various OMP upgrades like strut brace at the rear and footrest, starter button, lowered Eibach springs and anthracite wheels.
Only 250 numbered cars were produced and technically equal to the standard Evo 2 and were all delivered in 1995.
The Final Edition is obviously a rare car to spot on the streets due to its limited production numbers and the fact all were delivered in Japan. To find one which is fully original, has a relative low mileage, complete service history from new and……..is for sale is even more rare. Well, we got one!
Many copies of the Final Edition were made but this is a genuine version (chassis # check through Lancia factory database) and is # 88/250 with only 85.000 kilometres and new service. This Evo comes out of our own collection and is been in the Netherlands since 2015.
The body of this Final Edition is straight and absolutely no rust or chassis cracks on the obvious places. The Delta has been repainted in Japan with the exact colour/ stripe scheme and is in a fabulous state. All other details and logo’s are in perfect condition as well as the car has always been garaged. It will be very difficult to find an Integrale in similar state. All body parts, glass around, blinkers and lights are original parts; no replica used. Underneath the Delta is extremely clean and another proof of good maintenance and care by its previous owner. The Evo is fitted with the standard supplied 16” anthracite Speedline wheels in new condition and new Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres.
The Interior is also kept mainly standard with the great looking Recaro highback seats in black clothing. Only extra is a longer quick shift lever but original one is still with the car. All the carbon parts and plastics are in good shape without any colour fading which often is seen with other Japanese Delta’s. The clothing and seat bolsters are perfect. All electrics/ instruments are working including the A/C blowing cold air and recently modified with R134 gas. Extremely clean and well maintained example of an Evo 2 complete with original spare wheel and toolkit.
No (silly) tuning done on this car. The standard 215Bhp engine has been very well maintained which is reflected through the extreme clean engine bay. The car is fitted with silicone hoses and open airfilter (original airfilter box included), dump valve and stainless steel exhaust. All of these quality parts are from Walker Garage UK (invoice included). The car has been serviced in 2015 including belts and full service history is included from new which again is a rare feature. Oil and turbo pressure are very healthy and camshafts have been inspected (known as a weak part). Thermostat replaced. The road handling of this final edition is mind-blowing; very solid steering and mechanical grip.
